If I had to have a favorite judge, chief judge of the Delaware Court of Chancery William B. Chandler III would be the man. Chandler is famous for his deep understanding of the cases he rules on, from referencing 50 Cent to channeling Ray Charles for an opinion on a Coca-Cola case (baby-uh huh). …

Digital Extremes, the team behind such mediocre titles as Dark Sector, Pariah and Extreme Pinball, have signed on to help optimize Bioshock for the Playstation 3. To be fair, DE did also produce the fair to middling Unreal Tournament 2003, and they do have a way with death frisbees. The game is …

Like me, many of you folks drooled over the mere idea of the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational exclusive Archangel Tyrael pet for World of Warcraft. Now we get to see the little guy who'll have players /telling the lucky recipients with "Were'd u get tht?" from now until the end of time. Blizzard just …

The guys over at SarcasticGamer.com are known for their hilarious parodies and the SarcasticGamer podcasts. Interestingly, they’ve also been able to allegedly score an inside source that has some interesting claims about Halo 4. A very good and anonymous source tells us that Halo 4 is already …

Color is your friend — or so we've heard. But color is totally BFFs with Midway's This Is Vegas, a game we doubt will ever be brushed off by the gaming set for its tendency to dip too much into the browner portions of the spectrum. This Is Vegas has more color per pixel than, well, just about any …

How does one get his or her Halo fix when the power goes out? Sure, one can rearrange, dust, catalog and possibly even play with officially licensed action figures. You could even mess about with Halo ActionClix, but if you're looking to sling epithets and trash talk at the kitchen table, you may …

Heather Trujillo, the babysitter implicated in the death of 7-year old Zoe Garcia, has been given an 18-year suspended sentence, according to a report from Colorado NBC News affiliate 9 News. Trujillo, who was arrested along with her boyfriend Lamar Roberts, will instead spend six years in a youth …

The release of PlayStation 3 firmware 2.40 last night seems to have caused a wide number of issues for those who updated to the new release, as we reported earlier. It now appears that Sony has since pulled the newest update, reverting back to firmware 2.36 as the most recent available version. We …

EA DICE's Battlefield series has been providing PC gamers (and eventually console owners) with solid, entertaining online multiplayer battles for a good six years now. Now that they've proven they can deliver the multiplayer goods they've taken on the single player experience with Battlefield: Bad …

In 26th place, we have three journos who all have a connection to Future in some way – one as an employee, and two with freelance history. A lot of people still think Dan Emery writes this blog, although other names have been added to the list over the years. We’ve always found it funny how he …

New Pure footage unveiled

Gaming Nexus

by: Charles HusemannNEWS - I have to admit that I'm a bit captivated by Pure, Disney's new off-road racing game simply because the graphics look incredible. The game looks amazing but I am starting to wonder if the game is all looks and no gameplay.  Well this new trailer shows off the trick …

by: Randy KalistaNEWS - Taking a hedonistic trip somewhere between Rainbow Six Vegas and Grand Theft Auto is Midway's This Is Vegas.  Too bad the name sounds like an ad campaign in and of itself.  A sinful set of three new screenshots show the Abercrombie-dressed bad boy swigging swill …

by: Charles HusemannNEWS - Here's the new trailer for Paradox's City Life Edition 2008 which illustrates the decisions you'll have to make in the game like building bridges, redeveloping run down areas, and rocking out to a killer soundtrack.  Looks like a nice time killer for those who need a …

This month’s edition of Edge magazine (E191, August 2008) features an extraordinary interview with Tez Okano, the director of one of Sega’s most unlikely titles, the 2001 Dreamcast game, SGGG (pronounced Segagaga). Released at almost the same moment Sega announced its withdrawal from …

Venom Games Closes Up Shop

Aeropause

So here is an interesting conendrum.  What do you do when a developer closes up shop, while you are reviewing their game?  Well, the review still goes on, but there is a benefit to know that you probably don’t have to worry about DLC to purchase. Venom Games, developer of Don King Presents: …

by: Charles HusemannNEWS - I'm not a fan of print mags but the August issue of GamePro is tempting because it's got a ton of new info on Resistance:Fall of Man 2.  Of course there's always the new ARG they are running for the game but my plate is a bit full right now.Comment
